The Akimat of Almaty city and the Almaty Triathlon Federation inform the citizens and guests of the southern capital on the partial road closures in the days of the competition.
On August 3–5, 2018, in the framework of the Asian Cup and the Kazakhstan Championship in triathlon, traffic on the roads for motor vehicles will be partially closed in the places of the cycling stage of the competition.
On August 3, during the training run from 13.00 to 15.30 the following roads will be closed:
Traffic on Tole Bi Street (southern side) from Tlendiyev Street to Utegen Batyr Street. The northern side will be free for motor traffic.
Traffic on Utegen Batyr Street from Tole Bi Street to Zhubanov Street. All lanes will be completely blocked.
On August 4, during the competition from 05.00 to 13.00 the following roads will be closed:
Traffic on Tole Bi Street (southern side) from Tlendiyev Street to Utegen Batyr Street. The northern side will be free for motor traffic.
Traffic on Utegen Batyr Street from Tole Bi Street to Zhubanov Street. All lanes will be completely blocked.
On August 5, during the competition from 06.00 to 15.00 the following roads will be closed:
Traffic on Tole Bi Street (southern side) from Tlendiyev Street to Utegen Batyr Street. The northern side will be free for motor traffic.
Traffic on Utegen Batyr Street from Tole Bi Street to Abai Avenue. All lanes will be completely blocked.
Traffic along Abai Avenue (northern side) from Utegen Batyr Street to Saiyn Street. The southern side will be free for motor traffic.

Road closures for such large-scale events is an international practice. We are trying to minimize the area and time of closures in order not to impede traffic.
